Juan Carlos Soto is Vice President of Hybrid Cloud Integration and API Economy which includes IBM's API Connect, MQ, IIB, App Connect, DataPower, and Node.js offerings. Previously he was the CEO at StrongLoop, a leader in Node.js for the Enterprise, which was acquired by IBM in September 2015. Prior to StrongLoop, he led several businesses at Informatica including the Informatica Cloud Business unit growing it from an internal startup operation to a mainstream subscription business recognized as a market leader in the integration platform as a service (iPaaS) category. Prior to Informatica, Juan Carlos worked at Sun Microsystems where he was a member of Sun’s Executive Management Group and held various executive positions including Vice President of Cloud Computing and Developer Products Marketing, Vice President of Market Development, and CTO of Software.
