APIs being built today are getting smaller and smaller—more and more niche to the use case. In our case (PactSafe), we had a JavaScript analytics library we wanted to connect to our app. We just didn't want to tack that service on to our REST API. So we built a microservice, and I'm eager to share what we learned and why it's working.
